This is a splendid holding pool. It has enough current in most water heights to fish a fly, but is deep and shady enough to hold fish in the lowest water conditions. Best fished from the right hand bank it is a pool worth a concerted effort. Fish can be caught surprisingly high up in the run, and right down in the tail and at most points in between.
